Overview

Me3D was where Alex’s marketing career began in earnest — a role that blended customer success with hands-on B2B marketing, spanning email campaigns, trade show execution, school outreach, Shopify management, and web analytics. The foundation every senior marketer needs.

Where the foundations were built.

Me3D was an Australian 3D printer manufacturer focused primarily on the education sector — selling hardware and software solutions to schools across the country. As Customer Success Manager, Alex sat at the intersection of marketing and customer engagement, responsible for ensuring customers understood, adopted, and advocated for the product.

The role required organising workshops and training events for educators, managing EDM campaigns, maintaining the Shopify store, contributing to web content and analytics, and representing the brand at trade shows. It was a formative, high-breadth role that built the commercial instincts and channel fluency that would underpin everything that followed.

04
Shopify store management. Maintained the Me3D Shopify site, managing product listings, content updates, and the overall e-commerce experience — building early hands-on familiarity with the platform that would prove valuable in later roles.

What this role demonstrates.

Me3D is the origin story. Every senior marketer has a role that built their commercial instincts, customer empathy, and channel breadth — and this was Alex’s. The combination of customer success and marketing responsibilities meant Alex learned to think about the full customer journey, not just acquisition — a perspective that distinguishes great marketing leaders from good campaign managers.

The Shopify, EDM, events, and analytics exposure across a single role in under two years speaks to the kind of adaptability and curiosity that compounds over a career.
